Job Overview:

Shriners Children’s Honolulu has a special opportunity for an individual to assist in the Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) office. This position is an integral member of the Shriners Rehabilitative Team, serving as point of contact for patient inquiries, scheduling, and overall department administrative support.
Responsibilities:

The Rehabilitative Assistant is responsible for routine administrative operations of the department, which include assistance with patient inquiries, scheduling, and supporting the department administratively. This position also assists with the coordination of interdepartmental support for the patient and liaises between the Rehab department and other patient care departments such as Outpatient, Radiology, Prosthetics, Inpatient, etc. The Rehab Assistant reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitative Services.
Qualifications:

Education

High School Diploma required. Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience

2 years of administrative experience preferred

Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Experience with pediatrics and/or orthopedics preferred

Other Requirements

Highly organized, good attitude and a team player

Proficient in MS Office Suite
