Job Summary:
The Coding Education Analyst will be part of a team that is responsible for providing documentation education and coding expertise to clinical and coding staff. We are looking for a candidate who is driven, demonstrates excellent time management skills, excellent communication, initiative and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate must be willing to work in a dynamic environment with the ability to be self-directed, flexible and manage priorities effectively. This position is open for either a full-time remote model or an in-office/hybrid model at our Dublin, OH office.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for triaging and escalating client concerns as needed via physician portal.
Responsible for maintenance of databases and task lists for team.
Communicate with team any client specific coding issues
Support and user maintenance for provider portal
Responsible for routine analytics and trending of provider documentation issues.
New client onboarding assistance
Documentation audit assistance
Special project assistance
Continued education on coding & industry news

Required Skills:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
AAPC, AHIMA, or RCCB certifications required.
General understanding of Medicare programs (i.e. Articles/LCD/NCD coverage, NCCI, Quality Payment Program).
Physician coding experience required, preferably radiology-based.
Evaluation & Management, Pathology, Anesthesia, Radiology Oncology coding experience a plus.
Microsoft Office experience required.
Optum/CAC experience a plus.
Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. This would require the ability to move files and paperwork, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
