The 15 Space Surveillance Squadron (15SpSS) seeks to fill the DO-01 position of Administrative Assistant to the Front Office. This position is located within the 15SpSS Front Office at the 15th Space Surveillance Squadron in Kihei, Maui Island, Hawaii.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
Developing, analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of policies, programs, and operations
Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to 15SpSS programs and/or operations
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives of the Squadron
Validate customer feedback data in order to develop sound solutions and action plans to improve existing processes
Provide advice to management and leadership on matters relating to policies and programs associated with the site and customer satisfaction
Create communication strategies and material to include, but not limited to, internal and external websites, public relations, press releases, media, advertising, core messaging, and stakeholder engagement
Develop and maintain relationships with a broad set of stakeholders in the public and private sectors both locally and within the space situational awareness community
Organize and implement events, workshops, symposiums, seminars and/or conferences
Assume role as a program coordinator to include logistics management when supporting executive committees
Compile and prepare recommendations, findings, briefings, narrative summaries, and statistical analysis in written reports and documents to management and external entities
Develop education, training plans, and materials to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Relocation costs or other incentives may be available and considered by the organization
