Position Summary
CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Core Business Operations (CBO) is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ core business issues. CBO provides a gamut of consulting services spanning advisory, implementation and operations. CBO practitioners help our clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms right from process design to implementation and finally ensuring roll-out transition.
CBO has four different offerings — Application Modernization Innovation(AMI) delivers end-to-end technology and application solutions to enable and improve our clients’ core business operations. We do this in a truly modern way leveraging the best of innovative technology, people, and delivery approaches to help you dream, explore, and build your future. Cloud Engineering focused on end-to-end cloud services from migration strategy into transformation and cloud operations; Core Industry solutions focused on industry vertical, sector specific solutions that drive operational change and automate the core of the business; and Operations Transformation focused on creating a flexible, innovative business model for clients supported by a strong operations foundation. CBO serves clients across Life Sciences and Health Care, Government & Public Services and Financial Services among other industries.
Analyst
As a Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually contributing to your work and also independently lead / mentor junior team members along with liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. You will also be involved in end to end solution development from planning to execution. Also, you would be responsible for status reporting and collection of metrics for analysis.
The work you will do
Continue to learn US health care knowledge and successfully complete training and certifications in any of the required Electronic Health Record Platforms
Develop solutions performing technical design, contribute to application enhancement standards and quality processes in projects
Interact with onsite clients, US teams, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams
Coach, guide and mentor junior analysts in the team
Resolve issues and incidents reported by end users
Prioritize work items for junior analysts. Escalate any quality issues and risks with team leads
Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a collaborative environment.
The team
CBO practitioners work on design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large scale ground-up custom developed applications, to cloud based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector focused packages. As an Epic capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies along with the Epic solution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university with strong academic record.
MHA/B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MSc/M.Tech/MBA or any medical background
Prior Experience:
1.5-6 years of work experience in EMRs (like Epic, Cerner, McKesson, AllScripts, etc.) or good understanding of healthcare workflows.
Skills / Project Experience – required:
Demonstrate good understanding of US Healthcare domain knowledge and client workflows
Ability to perform system builds, configuration and testing in any EMR
Ability to understand Service Level Agreement (SLA) methodology and follow the same as per engagement requirements
Perform problem management activities such as Root cause analysis of incidents
Excellent documentation skills such as – Application understanding, change management etc
Ability to follow engagement specific project delivery processes
Ability to perform estimation of work products
Proactive drive on improvement and innovation ideas
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools / ticketing tools.
Skills / Project Experience – good to have:
Understand EMS’s and US healthcare workflows
