T*itle: *Project CoordinatorDiv/Dept: Information TechnologyL*ocation: *IndiaR*eporting *Relationship: Director IT OperationssummaryWorking alongside the IT Operations management team, project coordinators are responsible for overseeing specific stages of a larger project. Although the IT Operations management team or project manager oversees the project as a whole; project coordinators may work on more than one aspect of a project, depending on its nature and scope. The project coordinator tracks each applicable stage throughout its lifecycle and makes sure that critical information is shared among the various team members. The project coordinator will also support the implementation of a Portfolio and Project Management Office.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESScheduling – help to build, maintain, and report out on schedule progress. The coordinator helps to ensure deadlines are met. Additional support is needed to manage the calendar and all project specific meetings and events.Organizing and Time Management – must be adept at multitasking and perform a wide variety of tasks daily. Coordination of the critical tasks within a project is vital to the project coordinator role.Record Keeping – needs to help manage project documentation collection, versions, and retention.Communication – updating project team and stakeholders as required by the project manager.Self-driven – the project manager depends on the coordinator to take assigned duties and implement with minimal direction.Change Control – assist with the governance, maintenance and reporting of the project changes. This is different from the changeBudget Management –Maintain updates, track, and report on spending.Risk Management – identify risks and issues and escalate as determined by the project rules.Reporting and Metrics – Provide transparency to the teams and stakeholders. Highlight key metrics as defined as important by stakeholders. Ensure the right data is presented in an intuitive and action provoking way.Other duties as assigned – Provide support to Infrastructure and Security as needed.**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTSExperience: *Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.Providing administrative support as needed.Undertaking project tasks as required.Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.Attend and lead project meetings as needed in the Project Manager’s absence.In depth knowledge of IT and IT SecurityQualifications and Requirements: *Five – Seven years’ experience in related field.Strong English verbal, written and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Competency in project management applications (JIRA, MSP, Clarizen, Clarity, Teams, Planner) preferred, not mandatory.Knowledge in file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.*Ability to work on tight deadlines.EDUCATION*Bachelor’s or Lengthy experience in a related field (IT Infrastructure, IT Security, Project Management, Business Analytics, Statistics) is preferred.Job Type: Full-time
