What You’ll Do
Allocates costs, collects data, and prepares reports that maintain the company’s cost accounting system. Ensures that costs are allocated according to established procedures. Gathers historical cost data on such activities as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation, repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc. Investigates cost structures for new and existing areas of the company. Prices new services or products by developing unit costs and projecting expenses. Prepares reports that compare budgets with actual expenses. May prepare existing or projected profitability analyses. May recommend, design, or develop revisions to the cost accounting system.

Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree OR Master’s degree in a related field.
Eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
