Introduction:
We are looking for a risk analyst to help drive our analysis, review and challenge agenda. The candidate should be able to work both independently and as part of a team to provide analysis and commentary on the bank’s counterparty risk profile. In addition, the successful candidate will liaise with Sales and Trading to understand the risk on derivative and financing transactions.
What will you be doing?
Live trade risking of
All derivative product types.
Securities financing transactions. The securities lending and financing business covers a broad universe of asset types in both security and whole loan format. Being able to correctly estimate the exposures produced by such trades requires a thorough understanding of fixed income instruments and their securitization.
Portfolio risk management of counterparty risk exposures for the bank
Quantitative and qualitative analysis of counterparty risk
Development and improvement of management information
Ad hoc portfolio risk analysis of emergent market and macroeconomic events and how they affect the bank’s counterparty risk profile
Contribution to the continuous improvement of risk systems and tools
Presentation of analysis and results to senior management
What we’re looking for:
Degree in finance, engineering or related field
Familiarity working with traded risk products
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
