Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Marketing Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within our Growth Organization, our Document and Content Management Team oversees the centralized assembly of disclosures, collateral creation, and the storing of digital assets.
Are you passionate about creating centralized storage for digital assets? Would you enjoy being part of a new team responsible for increasing brand control, improving productivity, and overseeing Synchrony’s Digital Asset Management system? The Digital Librarian is responsible for curating, organizing, documenting, cataloguing, preserving, and managing all digital assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
Manage ingestion, metadata, tagging and cataloguing of assets across multiple business platforms
Audit assets, metadata, and DAM workflows – including flagging of assets for correction
Support internal and external users uploads, replace and/or archive digital assets
Develop and maintain user education and training documentation
Collaborate with DAM Leader to report on any key performance indicators
Participate in governance of the DAM, including supporting activities to optimize search/filtering functionality
Act as a DAM ambassador, including onboarding of new users
Monitor content quality and troubleshoot workflows
Develop standard reports and summarize trends for asset usage, adoption, and delivery
Continuously ensure the DAM delivers value to the Synchrony enterprise
Graduate degree in any discipline
3+ years professional DAM experience in high-volume environment, with strong knowledge of DAM systems
3+ years of experience with metadata, taxonomy, cataloguing, asset conversion, asset migration and bulk uploading of digital assets

Highly organized, detail oriented, results focused
Effective at meeting deadline, adjusting priorities, and working on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to apply a methodically consistent approach to repetitive tasks
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information Technology
Prior work experience supporting Marketing functions in the Financial Services Industry
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience integrating a DAM solution with other Marketing Technology platforms
Ability to simultaneously work on multiple high-profile project deliverables
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
Strong problem solving, analysis and reporting skills
