Description
Prepare EHS Dash boards and circulate the stakeholders.
Tracking the Open Points and Closing the open Observations with discussing with all stake holders.
Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
Build, plan and implement a comprehensive safety training to staff.
Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
Track, Plan and report EHS Metrics – the fortnightly / monthly etc. lab walk through observations.
Reporting to EHS committee on monthly basis; Need to bring visibility to leadership team.
Creating Awareness among the staff on various aspects of Environment by various Programs.
Lead in conducting safety and Environment day celebrations like World Environmental day Celebrations and National Safety Week celebrations.
Issue PPE inventory to Lab Staff.
Assisting the EHS Manager in Conducting monthly Safety Audits & Inspections of the site.
Assisting the EHS Manager in Maintaining the New Chemical Inventory with respect to compatibility.
Assisting the EHS Manager to ensure that Chemical Inventory is being maintained in the Labs.
Updating the ERT List which is displayed at strategic locations.
Should provide Training to staff members on Safety related topics.
Any other activity identified from time to time;
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental sciences/Chemistry or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering.
Experience:
3 – 5 Years of Experience.
Preferred Qualifications
PG/UG in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry or bachelor’s in chemical engineering.
Prior experience in a Chemical based industry.
Diploma in Safety from any recognized Board.
Knowledge about the Chemicals risks associated with the chemicals.
Knowledge on Safety Standards. (National & International).
Supervisory Responsibilities
Non-Supervisory role.
