Preparation of drawings and documentation as directed by Group Head, the Lead Engineer or Designer including MTO’s schedules etc. where applicable.
Correct the drawings based on comments made on check prints by the Lead Engineer or Lead Designer.
Apply his technical knowledge to ensure that a consistently high standard is maintained.
Ensure that all work is in compliance with Company Standards and good engineering practices
Maintain contact with draughtsmen in other Groups to ensure
that other Design Groups are acquainted with the Group’s requirements which affect them.
that interface areas are adequately covered.
Knowledge in E3D software is a must
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
:
A Diploma in either Electrical engineering discipline or a certificate in Drafting trade.
Experience
:
12 to 15 years in Design Office preferably with Consultant/Contractor, preferably with the following experience.
Designing and drafting of power, earthing, lighting layouts, single line diagrams, etc. Preparation of material take-off schedules.
