Guest Services Assistant – Ticket Scanning

As a Guest Services Assistant in our ticket scanning team, you will monitor lift access gates and queues while assisting guests to resolve any issues that occur. When ticket checking, fast and accurate processing is paramount whilst also remaining vigilant. Problem solving and identifying issues are a key element of this role. As you will be liaising closely with guests and ticket sellers, your communication skills will be called upon regularly.
You’ll be the first point of contact for a lot of our guests and with the extensive knowledge you’ll gain of our products and services, you will exceed our guest’s expectations and assure the smooth delivery of day-to-day operations of the business.
You need to be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and an intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Demonstrated experience in a customer service role
Intermediate to advanced ski or snowboard ability
Excellent knowledge of our resorts and the products and services will be highly regarded
A cheerful, “can-do” attitude
Excellent verbal communication skills
A sound working knowledge of computer systems and processes
The ability to work outside, on your feet, in all weather conditions
The ability to work under pressure at times
The ability to stay enthusiastic, friendly, patient and helpful when busy
The ability to work unsupervised at times and be a great team player

Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in late September. Staff accommodation may be available for successful applicants.
