Full Job Description :-
Branch Audits
Assist in developing annual Branch audit plan detailing the scope, nature and periodicity of the Branch audits.
Mentor the team of Branch Auditors to achieve expected quality output.
Manage a team of Branch Auditors for respective zone and ensure that the Audits are executed as per the Plan by all the Branch Auditors
Assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures through the Branch audits.
Review the reports prepared by the Auditors and ensure that the same are drafted in an expected manner and appropriate recommendations are provided for the rectification of the highlighted discrepancies
Discuss critical audit findings immediately with the line manger and report significant issues to AVP Internal Audit & Head – IAD
Ensure that the appropriate management comments with timelines is received in due time, report is finalized and Branches are rated on the basis of defined rating methodology by all the Branch auditors.
Circulate final report with the rating to the branch keeping the senior management in loop.
Ensure that all required trackers are accurately maintained by the branch auditors and same are updated on real time basis.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as per the instructions received from Head Office.
Process Improvements
Random visits to branches to monitor the Branch Audit process and performance of the Auditor.
Periodic review and revision of Audit checklist and rating methodology basis the process changes brought in by management and regulators.
Train the subordinates on the new changes brought in the Audit checklist and rating methodology
Management Reporting
Ensure availability of complete and accurate details for incorporation of the same into Audit Committee summary and presentations.
Assist in preparation of Summary of Branch audits and ACB presentation
Act upon the actionable arising out of Audit committee meetings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include process flowchart, narratives etc. and a proven track record of effectively building relationships with process owners in a positive and proactive manner. Strong experience to quickly gain knowledge of changing business and system environments Must be flexible (in terms of work hours, multiple jobs, teams etc.) and have strong work prioritization skills Proven ability to self-manage / prioritize strict deadlines / timelines and manage time, reso
