At the heart of Deutsche Bank is the Corporate Bank, a market leader in cash management, trade finance, lending, trust and agency services and securities services, as well as risk management for foreign exchange and interest rates.
Securities Services (SeS) provides custody, clearing, settlement and fund services to global custodians, broker/dealers, and prime brokers as well as buy-side firms and other institutional clients.
The KYC Business Support Officer role is an integral role and part of the Securities Services business management in APAC. The role is responsible to provide extensive support to all the Securities Services Accountable Client Owners (ACOs), KYC Outreach teams, Offboarding teams, Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) teams Central project team etc on tasks that are related to Know Your Client (KYC), New Client Adoption, Periodic Review (PR) process.
We seek a well-rounded and dynamic individual to join our team as a KYC Coordinator.
Overview:
The key responsibility is to facilitate efficient support by working closely with all divisions in actively ensuring the status of accounts (retained/offboarded) are reflected accurately in a timely manner.
The role will be responsible to support the business and ensure preventing the bank from being exposed to regulatory risk for not capturing the client offboarded status timely in the client KYC remediation process as well as any kinds of regulatory or reputational or monetary loss.
Key Responsibilities
For the SeS Business:
The key role and responsibilities include
ACO Management (support in nomination, attestation, leavers/joiners),
Client Perimeter Management, Client Clearing & Offboarding
KYC system support
Periodic Review Pipeline & Prioritizations Management (batching)
Periodic Review Static Management (changes of PR cases lead business line, senior client outreach etc)
General Query Management (e.g. Static Data Query Support)
Support in resolution of NCA cases
Periodic reporting on the status and updates to senior management
Support is developing efficient process
Tracking projects for completion and reporting / timely escalations
Ownership of issue resolution or meeting deadlines from Business side etc.
Your experience and skills:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Banking/Finance industry and specifically in Client-Onboarding team/ KYC teams with understanding of Securities Services business
Excellent teamwork spirit and possess positive working attitude
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Eye for detail and willingness to question current state practices
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures, regulatory requirements to review process in absence of written policy
Dynamic thinking and highly adaptable to constantly changing environment
Ability to work with information/files receiving from multiple directions and able to observe trending during the massive data pool.
Strong time management, organizational, planning and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users and with global teams.
Capability to work / analyze huge data volumes and proficient in MS Office applications, especially excel.
