Your duties and responsibilities
Ensuring our systems remain current on all developments to do with European shareholder activism.
Writing a daily summary of internal and external press coverage related to shareholder activism.
Writing monthly and quarterly summaries of campaigns by activist shareholders in Europe.
Writing a monthly summary of ESG-related deals in Europe.
Writing occasional scoops and news hits related to buyside activity and M&A.
Writing occasional analysis articles related to buyside activity and M&A.
Writing periodic summaries of M&A activity.
Other duties
We might ask you to perform other tasks and duties as your role expands.
Your skills, experience, and qualifications
Required
An ability to write clean, consistent English-language copy.
Experience in financial journalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in reading balance sheets and company reports.
Preferred
General knowledge of equity markets and buyside behavior.
General knowledge of the mechanics of M&A processes.
