Full Job Description :-
Over All 4 to 6 years of relevant hands-on experience on Networking & Security domain
Strong knowledge to install, configure and manage Cisco Network Devices & Routers (2800/3800/3900/ISR/ASR), Switches (2900/3500/3700/4500/6500)
Strong knowledge on LAN/WAN/Wireless concepts
Strong knowledge on Switching Protocols (VLAN/STP/RSTP/MSTP/VTP/ HSRP/LCAP)
Strong knowledge on Routing Protocols (EIGRP/OSPF/BGP)
Experience on routing, switching and wireless is must
Mandatory experience in Cisco ASA Firewall & Devices
Proven ability to manage a multi-vendor WAN, multi-protocol routing, including but not limited to EIGRP, BPG4, OSPF and RIPv2
Strong knowledge on DMVPN
Strong proven operational experience in network operations including incident change and problem management
Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure
Strong proven operational experience in routing and switching in a complex data center environment
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Network Security Engineer
Should have experience in any of the firewalls CISCO/Juniper
Experience with Network & Monitoring tools, diagnostic and network analytics tools such as Solarwinds, HP NNMI etc.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
Communication skills oral & written:
Excellent communication skills in English language. Ability to drive conference calls with Customers based out of the U.K
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills desired & Strong customer focus and ownership
Incidents Change and Service Requests (tasks) needs to be addressed in a timely manner and provide RCA
Manage escalations from the NOC where issues are experienced in engaging Resolver Groups
Candidates preferably working in Bangalore and willing to work in rotational shifts preferred & ready to work in weekend as well.
