Patient Accounts Representatives are a vital part of our organization. Patients rely on these individuals to explain what they are financially responsible for regarding surgical procedures. We are looking for an organized individual with excellent communication skills (over the phone) who is good with numbers to add to our team!
In this role, the primary responsibility will be to calculate patient responsibility for surgical procedures and contact patients to collect payment over the phone.
. Requirements:
What does the ideal candidate look like?
Communicates comfortably and effectively with patients and other employees
Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience; prior experience with patient accounts preferred
Knowledge of medical insurance and ability read and interpret EOBs
