Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for aligning the Human Capital solutions that support the business needs and delivering the best employee experience for the APJ region. You will be partnering with the Business to drive outcomes through defining, developing, and executing strategic HC goals, policies, and programs.
Your area of responsibility:
Develops a deep understanding of employee needs and proactively and with a sense of urgency, partners with them and their managers to enable the realization of their full performance potential
Participates in various HC Connect programs to build a good rapport with employees and partner with the business to deliver the best employee experience
Assists in the implementation of all key human capital initiatives from organizational design, organizational capabilities, employee relations & engagement, local legislation, onboarding & exiting, risk mitigation, compensation, performance management, benefits, HRIS, payroll, and other operational activities.
Responsible for identifying and delivering training needs in partnership with the COE that meet business needs and quality.
Administers the performance & compensation management process by managing annual employee expectations and providing appropriate guidance about the process & people.
Works in a collaborative manner globally and cross-functionally to deliver appropriate employee communications and facilitate a conflict-free, transparent and engaging culture.
Oversees the employee records and prepares all documents (letters, contracts, notifications, etc.) relating to changes in terms and conditions, including internal transfers, off-cycle promotions, extensions, title changes, changes to working hours, relocations, departmental re-organisations, unpaid leave, references
Maintains Human Resource Information System and compiles reports from database
Maintain employee benefits programs and provide resources to answer employee questions regarding benefits building a transparent culture
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
Ideate and bring forward new actionable ideas to engage the employees and build brand image – Team Building events, CSR Activities, Tech events, and other Social & Festive events.
May mentor or guide junior level staff members
Performs all other duties as assigned
Additional may also handle some responsibilities as requested by HCBP
Your Profile:
Master’s degree in Human Resources Management with 6 to 8 years of experience as an HR Generalist
Thorough knowledge of theories, practices, and methods across the broad spectrum of HC discipline with knowledge of Indian labor and employment policies.
High proficiency with HRIS software (e.g. Workday) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data analysis).
Self-motivated individual who constantly strives to achieve greatness
Business-minded, global mind-set, analytical and goal-oriented
Able to take ambiguous terms, make sense of it, and turn it into actional items
Resilient and not afraid to challenge the status quo
Excellent communicator with the ability to take complex concepts and simplify them based on stakeholder
Well versed in communicating with all levels of the organization with the ability to anticipate potential objections and influence people to adopt a different point of view
May involve travel to different offices; also requires the person to be flexible on early or late meetings on occasion
