Job Role: Planner Business/Location: Hyderabad
Product, Delivery and Project Planning
Job Purpose Statement:
For Product Planning; Plans, supervises and coordinates product scheduling across all work package groups and existing projects within dedicated Product Group.
For Project Planning; Overall responsibility for the creation, maintenance and close-out of project plans. Responsible for reporting in accordance with contract and TechnipFMC standard reporting procedures.
Organization Structure:
(a) Superior: Lead Planner, Planning
(b) Reports to: Master Scheduler/Delivery Manager
(c) Direct Reports: No direct reports
Main Accountabilities: (state most important accountabilities, activities & outputs. Approx 5-9)
For Product Planning:-
Serves as the primary point of contact for the product schedule to each Product Project Manager (PPM). Builds and maintains relationships with the Project Planner and PPM associated with all projects.Consolidates and analyzes information from Project Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing, to develop the product schedule for assigned project need dates.Serves as the primary internal contact between Product Group / Delivery Team and Product Project Manager for project scheduling issues. Ensures that the product status and progress are effectively communicated to the Product Project Manager and Project Planner.Meets regularly with Product Project Manager to update the product schedule in a centralized data base (Primavera).Prepares input to reports for the Product Group / Delivery Team including consolidated product schedule and summary updates.Ensures that product plans / schedules are updated on a regular basis based on input from supply chain, engineering, manufacturing constraints, MRP schedule alerts, and changing project requirements.Monitors progress against the baseline schedule and current plan. Prepares and maintains forecast schedule and initiates action when the schedule deviates from the current plan.Reviews and participates in preparation of Variation Order Requests, and implements accepted Variation Orders with regards to schedule, manpower and cost plans.Participates and gives input to project schedule for Tender purposes.
For Project Planning:-
Establish project plans for the execution of the work covering schedule, manpower and progress, in accordance with FMC standard planning methods.Ensure that project plans are updated on a regular basis based on input from the project organisation.Monitor and analyze progress, schedule, manpower and assists in analyzing cost/margin against baseline plan and current plan. Prepare and maintain forecast schedule and initiate corrective actions when this schedule deviates from current plan.Execute baseline revisions.Review and participate in preparation of Variation Order Requests, and implement accepted variation Orders with regards to schedule, manpower and cost plans.

Regularly interacts with departmental staff, business and/or unit management, and frequently internal and external partners.

Frequently interacts with internal and external partners.

Accountable for delivering own and team targets which have significant impact.Assists with coordinating the work of junior team members.

Responsible for keeping all EPC and Subsea Services facilities operating in alignment with the global standards and policies, sharing and implementing best practices.Problems aren’t defined; requires further investigation and sophisticated problem solving techniques.Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications.
Experience: (preferred for this role)
Minimum of 6+ years of relative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications: (note both the essential/minimum qualification requirements and preferred/desired additions)
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree.
