The ALM and XVA trading teams spread across the EM regions, with a key focus in Asian markets, serve as a conduit of information, knowledge and expertise across these markets. A significant focus area for the team is to expand and diversify its asset base across credit markets in the EM

Key Responsibilities: (not limited to):
Project Management: Own and deliver multiple and complex analytic projects through an understanding of business context, conversion of business problems in modelling and implementing to create business value.
Collaborate closely with the infrastructure team to effectively organize our data and build data extraction and analysis pipelines
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and statistical analysis of portfolio risk and client trends across DB’s Global Emerging Markets footprint
Identify actionable insights on the back of this and suggest recommendations , key pillars as below:
Smart Analytics:
Design effective ways of summarizing trends from large amounts of data – smart visualizations (Tableau)
Web / PDF scraping for financial markets events, live risk events, credit events and public client information
Enhancing NLP models to more accurately extract insights from the growing corpus of financial/legal documents
Develop statistical / machine learning models to optimize product density/client penetration while balancing risk and revenue metrics
Design frameworks/strategies to capture data for mitigating credit losses arising from risky situations / clients
Performing ETL tasks and data analyses (exploratory / confirmatory and / or qualitative), which includes a wide use of statistical models / algorithms using Python
Scalable/Efficient Risk Management:
Portfolio Risk Management via platforms on the back of above news/events including alert generation / hedging actions and data analytics
Business Development/Origination:
Opportunity identification based on analysis of market/client flow patterns, standardized cost/revenue metrics
Platform/Tool Buildout: Building mini-applications involving data-scraping / Symphony bots
Skills & Qualification :
MUST:
Solid grounding in SQL, Python (pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, web-scraping)
Experience in working with large datasets, data warehouses and the ability to pull data using relevant programs/coding
A good Computer Science undergrad degree with knowledge of statistics and experimental design
Outstanding problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
Proficiency in basic statistics, hypothesis testing, segmentation and predictive modelling.
PREFERRED:
Experience in credit risk analysis
Experience with tools for working with “big data” in a distributed fashion
Exposure to application development
