EY-GDS Consulting – Guidewire Testing
As part of our EY-GDS Consulting team, you will help clients develop their insurance strategies. Working with EY-GDS’s proprietary frameworks, you will help clients determine the best way to raise, invest, optimize and preserve their capital. This includes developing growth and market entry strategies, conducting strategic portfolio reviews and undertaking commercial due diligence studies.
The opportunity
We’re looking for Guidewire Testers with expertise in testing Guidewire Products – Policy Center, Billing Center Claim Center and Portal with prior experience in Insurance domain (Property & Casualty), meeting the Quality and Project Testing needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm.
Your key responsibilities
Need to work as a team lead in one or more testing streams of Guidewire implementation/package implementation projects.
Prepare or assist on Test Strategy, Test Plan, Sprint capacity planning and Test Estimations
Collaborate with various teams like Development, Infrastructure, Data, Conversion, Functional Business analyst teams to remove any impediments for testing
Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis
Skills and attributes for success
Good experience in Functional/Integration/UAT/System Testing/Database Testing
Good experience in Web services /API testing.
Good experience and understand the Software Testing Life cycle (STLC)
Good knowledge and experience in Software Development life cycle (SDLC)
Real time knowledge and experience on Insurance (P&C)
Good knowledge in Database testing skills related to Datahub and InfoCenter MI reporting.
Excellent Business communication skills
Good Leadership and management skills
Expertise in test management tools like Quality Center, Bugzilla, Jira,Rally
To qualify for the role, you must have
MCA/ BE / B.Tech/ equivalent with software testing industry experience of 2 to 6 Years
To qualify for the role, nice to have
Experience in Insurance COTS products such as Duck creek, FADATA etc.
Cross Domain understanding of Lifescience/Healthcare/Lifeinsurance.
Experience in any Relational databases like Oracle, MS SQL etc
