In the role of Recruiter working in Trenton, SC you will be part of the Talent Acquisition team.

The Recruiter I is responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent. This position will interface daily with the Leadership Team to provide exceptional support in securing top talent for assigned functions or plants. This position reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Essential Duties:

Recruit for assigned functional areas including Entry Level and Skilled plant positions.
Source and prescreen candidates following process on candidate discussion documentation.
Schedule phone screens and on-site interviews for candidates including coordination with interview teams, company resources, and travel department.
Conduct relative as requested to support projects and program initiatives.
Coordinate pre-employment activities and post-hire documentation.
Manage confidential and personal identification information.
Make recommendations for sourcing strategy including external recruitment and social media sites.
Participant in onsite or offsite Recruitment events and job fairs.
Ensure proper documentation meets compliance of the recruitment process.
Meet the defined expectations for the Affirmative Action Plan and the associated data requirements.
Other Duties as assigned and the following:
Assist with the University Relations Program by confirming participation at career fairs and job postings.
Utilize web-based applicant tracking system to maintain candidate data and post job openings.
Provide timely report to Managers and Directors.

Minimal Qualifications:

Associates Degree or equivalent experience
6 months HR related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working Human Resource field
Experience working with an applicant tracking system

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Demonstrated flexibility
Ability to work within a fast-paced, growing, and dynamic environment
Solid communication skills, verbal and written
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to challenge the status quo and willing to “roll up the sleeves and get things done” with a “can do” attitude
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of the this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above shoulders. the employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies. Occasional WI based travel as needed.
