The work schedule for this position is:
Full Time – 40 hours per week

Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Regional Security Office (RSO), U.S. Embassy New Delhi. The incumbent will be required to support the RSO Residential Security Program. The incumbent duties include conducting residential security surveys, working with contractors, installation and maintenance of residential security systems, and the operation and maintenance of other security equipment. The incumbent will be directly supervised by Locally Employed Staff (LES) Residential Security Coordinator. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Evaluations
EXPERIENCE: The position requires two years of experience with low voltage alarm systems in residential, office, or industrial environment.

Education Requirements:
The position requires successful completion of Secondary School (Class X) and completion of three years diploma in any of the following fields of study: Electronics, Electrical, Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or Technology is required.
Indicate on the qualifications questionnaire all the education details as relevant for the position (Class XII and/or higher for this vacancy). (Your answer should also let us know if you have completed Class X or XII or any other degree or vocational courses. Also, please specify the name of the Certificate/Degree/Diploma course and the major subjects for each qualification you possess.)

Level 1, Basic – Examples: Basic greetings, phrases, numbers and signs.
Level 2, Limited – Examples: Directions, simple questions
Level 3, Good working knowledge – Examples: Conversations about familiar topics, complex documents
Level 4, Fluent – Examples: Infer nuanced meaning from complex documents
Level 5, Translator – Examples: Certified professional translator in this language
Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. This may be tested.
Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in Hindi (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.
Please attach a copy of the valid Indian driving license with the application along with all the mandatory/required documents. Applications which do not have a copy of the license will not be accepted.
Please note: U.S. Government regulations require all Chauffeurs or Incidental drivers for official vehicles to be 25 years of age or older. We will not consider candidates below 25 years of age. Any applicant that possess a valid driving license issued for less than5 years will not be considered. If the applicant had renewed their driver’s license they must include copy of old and current driver’s license in order for HR to confirm the issuance date. Applicants not providing old and renewed driver’s license (if applicable) their application will not be considered for the position.
“Applicants must have the visual ability to recognize and distinguish among traffic control signals and devices showing standard red, green and amber colors.” Selected applicant/s will be required to undergo the mandatory medical testing before starting in the job.

Agency Benefits:
Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
