Full Job Description :-
As a member of the Centralized Support Services (CSS) Centralized UAT and Release Support team you will work closely with the Business Manager and Business Analysts to identify and escalate system issues, lead follow up and testing efforts and communicate results. As a Business Operations Analyst I you will perform limited scope user acceptance testing and end to end user acceptance tests. This role involves mitigating pre-production (test) defects; you will contribute to the identification efforts as well as assist in implementing system enhancements into a production environment that is free of defects. You will be an advocate for the business ensuring positive and negative results from testing are communicated, tracked and not repeated and ultimately demonstrate to business partners that functionality is as expected.
Key Responsibilities:

Attend all design walkthrough’s related to the end to end workflow
Review all project documentation such as Business Requirement Document, Functional Requirements Document, etc.
Documenting testing artifacts such as Test plans, milestones, trace matrix, Test scripts, defect and Test execution reports
Work closely with technology partners to identify, prioritize and automate the testing various of functionalities
Develop testing processes and approaches according to JPMC Chase, and Lean/Six Sigma standards
Assist in designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing strategy/plan
Create and aligned UAT artifacts with the CSS UAT standard methodology
Work with appropriate business and technology leads to determine the acceptable range for test results and performance
Interpret detailed business requirements document to deliver UAT tasks
Work with business and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare that data for the test cases
Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving problems
Facilitate resolution and communication of cross-application/organization architectural issues and decisions
Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design
Coordinate component, system and documentation testing with the appropriate technical groups and Release Management
Document test procedures and findings
Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups.
Create final test report
Assess readiness and deviation of product/project performance based upon test results and product specifications
Perform the tests in both the UAT and/or contingency/backup environments
Assess post implementation issues against test inventory to identify gaps
Create and maintain test case inventory/library
Evaluate test processes/tools to identify opportunities for improvement, automation or consolidation of test practices.
Lead multiple test efforts as well as provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to peers
May assist in leading team a team of UAT Specialists and Leads in manager’s absence
Successfully manage testing effort for projects through the UAT lifecycle
Lead and provide Release Management support through deployment cycles to ensure quality validations and production support occurs

Background/ experience

Minimum of 6+ years Quality Assurance/UAT Testing experience required.
Minimum of 6+ years experience creating test plans, test scenarios and test scripts required.
Minimum of 3+ years experience with ALM or Quality Center and all of it’s functionality
Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred

Skill set

Able to work independently as well as with a team to meet target dates
Ability to strategize test cases and integrate into the wider end to end regression
Strong written and verbal communication.
Strong experience with manual testing, testing tools, writing test plans, creating required testing artifacts, and writing test cases. Experience creating detailed test scenarios, test cases/scripts for technical and/or business clients.
Strong experience with Microsoft products.
