About the role
We are building products to make our customers’ lives easy and anxiety-free. 10 minute delivery is fundamentally changing the e-commerce space and what users expect from online platforms. We are looking for an experienced UX researcher to join our team to help define and drive the future of our platform. You will reveal what our users need by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. These responsibilities also include inspiring change, delivering oral and written presentations, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, and helping the UX team better understand what would make a user’s experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.
What you will do
Plan and drive user research on aspects of products and experiences
Discover user needs, pain points and be the advocate the same for product development
Collect and analyze user behavior through qualitative studies, call-listening, ethnographic studies, surveys, benchmark studies and online experiments (A/B testing)
Plan and execute tests to validate prototypes
Perform usability studies with consumers
Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics
Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations
Gather and analyze data
Use a diverse set of UX research tools
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in user research, preferably in a consumer facing environment
Bachelor’s or MS in a human behavior related field, HCI, Design Research (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience)
Skills
Proficient in 2-3 Southern Indian languages (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu) to conduct user research across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai
Deep understanding of concepts like design thinking, user journeys, empathy maps, research methodologies, user scenarios, etc
Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
Ability to quickly and effectively share research results
Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
Experience with remote testing tools
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to think from first principles and excellent problem-solving skill
